  1. 🌿 Variegated Neoregelia Bromeliad

Variegated Neoregelia is a beautiful tropical bromeliad known for its striped or mottled green-and-cream foliage and colorful central rosette. Many varieties develop shades of pink, red, or purple around the center when exposed to good light. It is an excellent choice for indoor collections, terrariums, and warm outdoor gardens.

    ☀️ Care tips

    • Light: Provide bright, filtered light. Gentle morning sun can enhance the variegation and colors, but avoid harsh midday sunlight.
    • Water: Keep a small amount of clean water in the central rosette/cup and refresh it regularly. Keep the potting medium only lightly moist.
    • Soil: Use a loose, airy, fast-draining bromeliad or orchid-type mix.
    • Pot: Good drainage is essential. Avoid letting the roots sit in stagnant water.
    • Temperature: Prefers warm conditions, ideally around 18–30°C. Protect it from frost and cold drafts.
    • Humidity: Enjoys moderate to high humidity with good air circulation.
    • Fertilizer: Feed with a very diluted bromeliad fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during active growth. Avoid heavy feeding, which can reduce the plant's natural coloration.
    • Variegation: Good light helps maintain strong cream-and-green patterns. Avoid sudden exposure to intense sunlight, which can scorch the lighter areas.
    • Propagation: After flowering, the mother plant gradually declines while producing pups around its base. These can be separated once they reach roughly one-third to one-half the size of the mother plant.

🌱 Tip: For the best colors and variegation, focus on bright filtered light, fresh water in the central cup, warmth, and good airflow.
