Sempervivum Combo usually refers to a collection or mixed planting of different Sempervivum (Hens and Chicks) varieties. These hardy rosette succulents come in beautiful shades of green, red, purple, pink, and burgundy, often changing color with sunlight and seasonal temperatures. They produce offsets (“chicks”) around the mother rosette, creating attractive clusters.

☀️ Care tips

• Light: Provide plenty of bright light and several hours of sunlight daily. Strong light helps bring out their colors.
• Water: Water thoroughly, then allow the soil to dry completely before watering again.
• Soil: Use a gritty, fast-draining succulent or cactus mix.
• Pot: Excellent drainage is essential. Choose a pot with drainage holes.
• Temperature: Sempervivums are remarkably cold-hardy and generally tolerate frost better than most succulents.
• Humidity: Prefer good airflow and relatively dry conditions.
• Fertilizer: They need very little fertilizer. A diluted succulent feed once or twice during active growth is usually sufficient.
• Propagation: Separate the chicks/offsets once they have developed their own roots and plant them separately.
• Flowering: A mature rosette eventually sends up a tall flower stalk. That particular rosette normally dies after flowering, while its offsets continue growing.
