The Monkey Tail Cactus, also known as Cleistocactus colademononis, is a fascinating and eye-catching succulent cactus native to the mountainous regions of Bolivia. It gets its name from its long, trailing stems covered in soft, white, hair-like spines that resemble a monkey’s tail!

🌿 Appearance

·         Stems: Long, cylindrical, and trailing — can grow up to 3–4 feet (90–120 cm) long.

·         Texture: Covered with soft, silky, white spines that give it a fluffy, tail-like look.

·         Color: Green stems hidden beneath dense, white hairs.

·         Flowers: Bright red or orange tubular blooms that appear along the stems, especially in mature plants.
