“Cobweb succulents” is the common name for a group of Sempervivum arachnoideum, a species of hardy, rosette-forming succulents in the stonecrop family (Crassulaceae). They’re native to the Alps and Pyrenees mountains in Europe.

Each rosette has fine, white, silky hairs that stretch between its leaves — these look just like a spider’s web, hence the name “cobweb.”
